About.

BitterPlay LLC is an independent game studio. We make small, sharp, systems-driven games — the kind where the rules are simple, the consequences are not, and mastery is earned the hard way.

Independent means exactly that: no publisher mandates, no trend-chasing, no filler. We design, code, and ship our games ourselves, and we only ship what we would play.

How we work

• Prototype first — an idea earns production by being fun ugly.
• Systems over scripts — depth comes from rules interacting, not cutscenes.
• Ship small, patch honestly, respect the player's time.
